Tutorial: How To Sell An Item

Do you want to sell an audio related item on AudioXsell?

If so, following these easy steps will help you post a classified.

  Are You An AudioXsell Member? If not, it's Free. Signup Now!

  You must be a registered member to contact the seller. If you are already have an account you can sign in at the top of any page on the right side.

  

  If you have not registered you can create your account here. If you are having trouble, follow our registration tutorial here.

  Sign In To Your AudioXsell Account

  Once registered, you must sign into the site to start the selling process.

  Start The Selling Process

  Click on the "Sell" button on the top blue menu of any page.

  Selling Page - Step 1

  You should now be on the first of 3 steps for selling an item. This first step collects general information about the item, your payment terms, and shipping information. You can also choose which add-ons you would like to use for you ad. They are displayed at the bottom of the page showing you what they will look like when applied to an item.

  Please note, you can change any of this information later in the My Account area of the website.

  Classified Headline

  Fill out the classified headline information boxes. These three items will be combined to form your classified headline on your ad.

  Classified Category

  Select the category of the item you would like to sell. If you do not think a category matches your item, choose the closest one.

  Classified Details

  Complete the next section with your price details and description of the item. You are also asked to choose what is included with your item and also the item condition. You can review the item condition scale by clicking on the link directly below it.

  Payment Information

  In the next part you are asked to include your payment information. Select what forms of payment you will accept and any payment details you want to specify. Also, please include the ships-from zip code or country if outside the United States.

  Shipping Information

  Include the shipping details you need to specify. Also, please include the ships-from zip code or country if outside the United States.

  Classified Add-On's

  The last part of part 1 of the selling process allows you to choose any add-ons that you would like for your classified ad. These do cost an additional fee and it will be included in your overall cost.

  Step Completion

  Once you are sure you have completed this step, choose Continue at the bottom of the page.

  Selling Page - Step 2

  The next step allows you to post up to four images to accompany your ad. You can add images at no additional cost.

  Upload Photos

  If you wish to add an image, choose the browse button to find your image on your computer. Once you have found the image, choose upload to post it on AudioXsell.

  

  Please note that only JPEG files are accepted and they must be 4MB or less in size.

  You can also add a short image caption to each image and for a small additional fee you can add one of your images to show up on search results and the categories pages. The image you choose is called a gallery image.

  

  Once you have completed uploading your images, select continue at the bottom of the page to continue.

  Selling Page - Step 3

  The last step is a simple confirmation step that allows you to look over how your ad will appear. You can use the orange buttons above the preview to change your information and photo options.

  

  You can also change the template of your ad with the drop down list at the top of the page.

  

  The last thing displayed on this page is your invoice for this classified. It will total up the classified fee and add-on fees as chosen. It will also show your account balance after this classified is posted.

  Once you are happy with your classified ad, select the Post Classified button at the bottom of the page.

  A short Confirmation screen will acknowledge that your ad was posted.Please remember that you can change your classified in the My Account area of AudioXsell.
