| Description: | This is the famous JA Michell Gyro turntable. It comes with the acrylic bottom and cover. The top cover has a few cracks in it. The table has some marks on the base unit, seems to have rubbed or something, but have no idea how it happened as it doesn't seem to have any problems that we can see. The pictures don't show it, but you can see it in person. On an audiogon rating, I would give it a 6 to a 7. The major frame has some marks or scuffs on the edge of it, again the pictures don't show it, but they are there. This is not a 100% looking turntable, but it isn't bad either, just used.
It looks like it has the DC motor, much improved over the AC motor.
Don't know much about the table, but it is a JA Michell Gyro, and they are great turntables.
Prefer local pickup, but will ship. We will take apart the turntable for shipping, it will be a few boxes, so shipping will be around $80. Just an estimate.
We have never used this turntable, so we can't really tell you any more about it. If you have any specific questions, please email us and we will try to answer all your questions. But we can't say anything on how it sounds, as we haven't used it.
