| Description: | The BC86PC is simply a BC86MKIII inserted in a hospital grade power cord. One end has the hospital grade plug that we also supply as an option with one of our BC606 models. The other end has the same IEC connector that we use on our BC62 power cord. Anyone who has used a BC86 knows what sort of improvements to expect with one of these. What may surprise them is that this application of the BC86PC is actually more effective than the parallel version. Having the filter actually in the powerline between the outlet and component provides superior filtering to the targeted component and, like the parallel version, the BC86PC still has a filtering influence on the rest of the circuit.
The physically closer the filter is to the actual component A/C input, the more effective the result it is. The BC86MKIII is mounted 18" away from the A/C power inlet. That provides the best overall result for cleaning up the powerline and flexibility of installation.
The BC86PC is like all of our powerline filtering and conditioner products, in that it also works really well with video equipment. You not only hear the difference, you see the difference.
